Let’s Talk Turmeric
Turmeric has so many healing properties - it’s main function is helping to alleviate inflammation. This can help tremendously with arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, and so much more. My favorite way to get some turmeric into my diet is with a delicious and warming golden milk latte.
Golden Milk Latte
1 cup of milk (I prefer Almond for this recipe)
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric, or 1/2 dropper of liquid turmeric. I prefer Herb Pharm Herbal Supplement
Ground Nutmeg (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
Honey to taste (optional)
Heat your milk in a saucepan over low to medium heat. As your milk starts to warm, add in your spices, stirring to help them dissolve. If you’re using liquid turmeric, wait to add this until you’re about to drink. Once your latte is warmed to your liking, pour into a mug and enjoy.
