SELF - CARE

Please take some much needed Self-Care breaks this week. Simply choose a few ideas from my Good Energy Matters, “What Can I Do For Myself This Week!”

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING

What speaks to you?

What can you do with ease?

What’s NBD but it goes a long way and lifts your spirits?

GEM LIST OF IDEAS…..I’m sure you have a few great ideas of your own!

Buy a plant or bouquet of flowers

Soak your feet

Make an appointment for a massage, facial, foot reflexology or haircut

Visit a local bookstore

Take yourself to lunch or dinner or call a friend to join you

Take a walk

Stretch

Take a yoga class virtually or in person

Deep condition your hair

Set up a bird bath

Visit a botanical garden

Make a pitcher of fruit water (you simply need water and your favorite fresh fruits) lemon, lime, orange, mint, cucumber, watermelon, blueberries - get creative and make a special thirst quenching, cleansing drink, that will brighten your day

Purchase a crystal or find an intriguing stone outside

Garden

Make weekend plans

Bake cookies, breads, muffins or brownies

Listen to music

Dance

Make a soothing cup of tea

Take a long shower or a relaxing bath

Curl up with a good book

Go to the library and choose some books

Listen to a podcast

Call a supportive friend

FaceTime with someone who makes you laugh

Light a candle

Knit, crochet, cross stitch

Watch a movie

Visit a museum or an aquarium

Look up at the sky 

Dream

Meditate or pray

Give yourself permission to do whatever speaks to you

Send a card to someone you love or admire

Take out your old jewelry and scarves and try them on

Buy yourself a gift

Sign up for a class or a course

Play with your pets

Give yourself a hand massage with lovely scented lotion

Stay in your pj’s all day

Be a tourist in your own town

Meet a friend for coffee or breakfast

Make a list of things you would like to learn how to do

Make a list of books you would like to read

Journal

Take one small surface in your office or your home and spruce it up (toss, donate, buy a plant, new pen or a crystal - do what works for you and what you would enjoy looking at or using

Go outside and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air

Get a manicure or pedicure or give yourself one

Find a labyrinth

Make a large healthy salad

Paint, draw, sew,  sculpt or work with fiber art

Find a branch, a leaf, a shell, a stone or something that speaks to you and bring it home

Create an altar

Do and be exactly who you want to be.  I only ask that you take the time to take care of yourself.

When we get so busy that we ignore ourselves our minds and our bodies rebel.  We need to balance the work the grind the tough life with self-care
